Gurren Lagann: Yoko Littner 05

Yoko is shown to be very mature and knowledgeable for her age. Instead of being impulsive like Kamina, Yoko prefers to think things through before charging into battle. This preference, however, makes the two of them fight constantly. Yoko is known to be a very protective person, especially towards the people she cares about.

After the war of liberation, Yoko Littner avoided taking part in politics at Kamina City. She wanted to distance herself from her warrior past and start a new life as “Yomako” in Koreha Island. She became an elementary school teacher, and later took on the role as the school’s principal.

Kipi is the cosplayer behind this beautiful Yoko cosplay! It’s been a while since I last featured her, but I’ve also noticed I only have Yoko in my Gurren Lagann collection. I suppose more research is in order! Thanks to You Mi for sending this in, and to Kyouran Kyoudai for the photos!

Gurren Lagann: Yoko Littner 02

A resident of Ritona, Jeeha's neighboring village, Yoko Littner tracks down the Gunmen which crashed through the surface and into Jeeha. She is highly knowledgeable in combat fighting and provide wise counsel to advance the war of liberation, even if her choice of clothing seem to speak otherwise. She explains earlier on in the series that she avoids clothing that restrict her movements.

I don't know about her, but I know I would find it difficult to fight in short shorts and a bikini top. Then again, she's the expert, not me. Thanks again to MPzero for the wonderful photography!

Gurren Lagann: Yoko Littner

Don’t let her cute looks fool you. Yoko is an extensive wielder of firearms, including the long range sniper rifle she’s holding in the image. She is the mature and rational member of the group, though she badmouths Kamina on occasion.

Yoko also loves children and is seen as a teacher named “Yomako” by the end of the series.
