To Aru Kagaku no Railgun: Uiharu Kazari and Saten Ruiko

unknown cosplay 97 from winter comiket 2010 - to aru kagaku no railgun cosplay - uiharu kazari and saten ruiko

I could have sworn I’ve seen these two somewhere before… but now I can’t remember from where! I thought it was Bakemonogatari, but the character list doesn’t include a girl with flowers in her hair.

I hope someone recognizes them! Thanks to Michelle for sending this!

EDIT: Thanks to anon for letting me know this is Uiharu Kazari and Saten Ruiko from To Aru Kagaku no Railgun!

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun: Misaka Mikoto

to aru kagaku no railgun cosplay - misaka mikoto by kanda midoriMikoto was discovered as a Level 1 Electromaster, espers with the ability to generate and control electricity, when she was still a young girl. She enrolled in Academy City to train herself, working very hard until she was ranked a Level 5, becoming the third strongest among seven in this rank. Her ability to shoot projectiles such as coins at high, destructive speeds earned her the nickname, “The Railgun”.

Stunning cosplay by Kanda Midori! I love how clean yet effective this photo is in portraying Mikoto. Thanks to Zerina for sending this!

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun: Shirai Kuroko

to aru kagaku no railgin / to aru majutsu no index cosplay - shirai kuroko from comiket 2010Shirai Kuroko is a level 4 psychic who is a member of Judgment, a special public committee group whose duty is to maintain peace and order in Academy City. She has a crush on Misaka Mikoto and often gets jealous towards other people who get Mikoto’s attention especially Kamijo Toma. Her powers are instant teleportation, which allows her to teleport herself and anything in her possession as long as it weighs under 130-137 kilograms to anywhere within a radius of 81-85 meters.

Cute cosplay! Though I’ve never heard of the series, I’m glad the contributor, Umbridge knew! Thanks again for the information and photo!
