Around the marshlands

The trees on the background look quite unreal. Actually, this is one my favourite pic from this photoshoot. Koyo looks like an elf \o/

More Harajuku Festival pics

Here is a new pic taken at the Harajuku Festival with our Eternal Sonata costumes. We've never been to that place before but it is nice to take pictures actually. The columns give a quit good effect on the whole pic I think.

We have only worn those costumes twice : the first time was for the European Cosplay Gathering contest at Japan Expo 2010 (and not for long) and the second time was at the Harajuku Festival. 

We hope to wear them again a bit longer. :)

Cosplay Harajuku 2010 au Parc de Bercy

Les 11 et 12 septembre s'est tenu un festival relatif à la culture japonaise un peu particulier. : le Festival Harajuku. En effet, celui-ci se déroule chaque année en plein air au sein du parc de Bercy.

Il rassemble majoritairement des fanzineux ainsi que des cosplayeurs. Pas de boutiques donc ici (et ça fait du bien !).

Koyo et moi y avons fait un détour le dimanche afin de réaliser une séance photo avec Ludo du site Total Manga qui fera l'objet d'un article au sein du 2ème numéro de leur magazine papier (distribuée entre autre à Paris Manga le weekend dernier).

Nous avons évité la pluie de peu et avons découvert une petite convention très sympathique et conviviale avec un esprit radicalement différent de ce que nous connaissons habituellement. Au final, du soleil tout l'après-midi et une température relativement douce.

En plus du shooting initialement prévu, nous avons participé à la réalisation d'un petit vidéo clip un peu expérimental orchestré par Omaru. Et le résultat est loin d'être décevant. :D
