Lacus has been known to have the ability to go into SEED mode when she goes to battle. However, only her pupils become dilated, and no symbolic seed explosion has ever been seen.
Another cosplayer from this year's Comiket! Lacus is practically one of my most favorite characters in the series, but she became less prominent in the sequel, Gundam Seed Destiny. I do love this outfit of hers more than the original one. Great work!

Yzak Joule is one of the elite pilots of ZAFT in the series Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. In Gundam Seed, he was under the command of Rau Le Creuset, leader of the prestigious ZAFT Le Creuset special operations team. He is very proud of his elite status, and considers Athrun Zala to be his primary rival.
This character may not be at the top of my favorite characters’ list, but it’s hard to deny how awesome this cosplay is. To explain why this cosplayer is covering his/her right eye, it’s because in the series, Kira Yamato gave him a scar in one of the battles they fought in. Technically, it’s on on his right eye, but above it, and across his face, but it makes sense to people who’ve seen the series.
An interesting video clip of Kelly Osbourne cosplaying Lacus Clyne from Gundam Seed… Her hair clip is on the wrong side but you pretty much know she’s doing Lacus anyway.
She doesn’t really do a good Lacus Clyne, but I’ll give her a ton of credit for doing something she has no idea what it’s about…

Natarle Badeiguel, one of the few survivors of ZAFT’s Le Creuset’s raid to seize the new weapons of the colony, is one of Earth Alliance’s most loyal and promising young officers. She is the executive officer of the Archangel, a ship headed by Captain Murrue Ramius. She is a superb tactical analyst, a fine trait that made her a captain of her own ship, Dominion, after her former captain began to question the Earth Alliance’s actions.
Natarle is one of my favorite character in the series. Most people don’t really like her because of her cold nature, but I believe that’s what makes her such a fine officer in the first place. Besides, I respect characters like her better than the Damsel in Distress types.
Sadly, she perished in Archangel’s hands because of her blind loyalty to the Earth Alliance.

The adopted daughter of the Representative and “Lion” of the Orb Union’s Uzumi Nara Athha, Cagalli is a strong willed young woman nicknamed “Goddess of Victory” by the Desert Dawn resistance group in ZAFT-occupied Northern Africa. It is a disappointing note, however, that by season 2 of of the series (known as “Gundam Seed Destiny“), her strong will is crushed by the load of the responsibility of becoming Orb Union’s Representative upon her father’s death.
Although she is born a Natural (people whose DNA has never been genetically enhanced in any way), Cagalli is the twin sister of Coordinator, Kira Yamato. They did not know that they were siblings until sometime during the Bloody Valentine War.
Beautiful cosplay! I prefer Cagalli when she was still on Gundam Seed. In Destiny, she became too much of a crybaby for me. But anyway, great job, and a perfect location to match!
I believe it was back in Gundam Seed when Cagalli first wore the costume she’s wearing in this picture. I can’t remember it too well, but with the controversy of who Athrun really ends up with at the end of Seed Destiny, I’d prefer to label this “Seed”.
This is really quite a sweet picture… Although it’s obvious Athrun is portrayed by a girl..! Maybe less eye make-up next time for Athrun.

It’s hard to determine whether a cosplayer is from Gundam Seed or Gundam Seed Destiny now a days… Since both Destiny is a sequel for Seed, they have the same set of characters without much difference in costumes…
I think this version of Lacus Clyne is from Gundam Seed. I can’t be certain though, because I’m basing it on the time I found this photo…
Lacus Clyne is an Idol Singer and a huge influence in PLANT, where the coordinators live. In the beginning of the series, she is engaged to Athrun Zala mainly for political reasons… The two of them actually get along pretty well, but Lacus meets Kira Yamato during the Bloody Valentine War and falls in love with him, breaking of her engagement… Lacus is also the person that Meer Campbell is imitating under the orders of Chairman Gilbert Durandal, so that he can sway the people to follow his orders.
Pretty cosplayer for a pretty girl. I want her pink Haro… Did I mention Haros are Athrun’s gifts to Lacus? Since she always has her Haros with her, I wonder if she really has no more feelings for Athrun?
