Fiancée of Mizuhara Ryo, Masuda Shizuka is a 10th grader who used her “political power” to transfer herself into the same class as Ryo’s. Shizuka mostly became Ryo’s fiancée because of the Japanese government’s secret childbirth program, but it was later revealed that her grandfather also played a role in the matter. It was fortunate, however, that Shizuka really did fall in love with Ryo as he did with her.

The main female protagonist of the question arcs, Rena is a kind girl who is also naïve and usually the subject of teasing by Maebara Keiichi. She loves all things she considers adorable calling them "kaii" which is actually "kawaii" only slurred. She also likes to take them home, and is virtually unstoppable when doing so. She also tends to utter the phrase "hau" when she is excited or flustered, and has a habit of repeating phrases at the ends of her sentences.
Childish though good natured, Tsukamoto Tenma is the main protagonist of the series, School Rumble. She is often mistaken to be younger than her classmates, and even younger than her sister, Yakumo. She is often dense and clueless even when the situation is quite obvious. Nevertheless, she is a typical student, who likes professional wrestling and is a fan of the Jidaigeki TV show, “The Three That Were Slashed”.
