Vampire Knight: Yuki Cross and Kuran Kaname 02

With the knowledge of her childhood friend, Kiryuu Zero becoming a vampire, Yuki Cross decided that she would allow him to drink her blood in order to keep him from falling into a Level E. Little did she know that the very same night, she would run into Kuran Kaname, the vampire who saved her when she was only 5-years-old. Although Yuki tried to hide Zero’s fang marks, it was later revealed by Kaname’s conversation with Yagari Toga that Kaname did know what had happened, but he did not push Yuki to tell him so because he was afraid that he would lose her.

Vampire Knight: Kuran Kaname and Yuki Cross

One fateful night in Cross Academy, Yuki found Zero in the corridor, where he lost control and bit her, revealing that he had been turned into a vampire. Kaname, who happened to be meeting with Kaien at the time, was alarmed at the scent of Yuki’s blood and hurried to the scene. Furious with what had occurred, he approached Zero, but when Yuki tried to come between them, she collapsed. In a cruel manner, Kaname told Zero that he had sucked so much blood from Yuki that she could barely stand, before carrying her away to tend her bite marks.

It’s either that, or this is the scene after Kaname asked Yuki to be his lover, and their first lunch together ended with her collapsing from the hallucinations of her lost memories. Wonderful cosplay by Gust James and Satiko-hime, nonetheless!

Vampire Knight: Kiryuu Ichiru

Zero's younger identical twin brother, Ichiru failed to become a Vampire Hunter due to his weak body and lack of hunter talents. He was believed to have been killed by the pure-blood vampire, Hio Shizuka, but he returned to Zero’s side 4 years later, revealing that he had willingly become Shizuka’s servant. She had given him her blood to cure his chronic illness in exchange for his loyalty, but she did not turn him into a vampire.

Amore’s twin, Artemisia makes a great Ichiru, much like how Amore makes an awesome Zero. Twins cosplaying twins; can’t go wrong there! Thanks again for allowing me to post this!

Vampire Knight: Yuki Cross 06

Born on the 29th of March, Yuki Cross is the adoptive daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy, Kaien Cross. She is described to be kind, caring, and cheerful, despite being naive and careless. Yuki is a poor student as she is the academy’s Guardian at night and a full time student during the day, giving her very little time for studying and sleeping.

I finally got to see Kipi’s version of Yuki! I think it suits her very well, and her pose looks so playful! Thanks to Milliard for sending this!

Vampire Knight: Kuran Kaname 11

Once noble king of all vampires who was loved by most and feared by many, Kuran Kaname has become a fugitive with his current act of killing powerful purebloods as well as Aido Hanabusa's father, thought to be Kaname’s ally. With his current whereabouts and true intentions unknown, anger and fear begin to grip the hearts of both vampires and vampire hunters alike; with Kuran Yuki and Kiryuu Zero taking different approaches to calm the coming storm.

Vampire Knight: Shiki Senri

One of the youngest students in the Night Class, Shiki Senri works as a model alongside Touya Rima during the day while attending his classes at night. He is often seen hunting Level E vampires; once with Takuma and another with Rima. It is later revealed that Shiki is actually the son of Kuran Rido, and the cousin of Kaname and Yuki.

Awesome Shiki cosplay by Karakuri-nin! The expression on the cosplayer’s face is absolutely priceless, as Shiki always looks bored whenever he needs to drink blood tablets. Thanks to Grace for sending this!

I was quite pleased when Australian cosplayer, ~Rima-kawaii contacted me in my Deviant Art account in order to contribute this lovely photo of her as Touya Rima and her friend ~silverfiction "Mik" as Souen Ruka. Vampire Knight: Ichijou Takuma 02

A close friend of Shiki Senri and Touya Rima, Ichijou's grandfather allowed him to enter Cross academy so that he could spy on the pure blood, Kuran Kaname. Ichijou refused to follow his grandfather's orders out of loyalty, but when Kuran Rido possessed Shiki, he was forced to go against Kaname in order to protect his friends. He returns to Kaname's side once Shiki was freed, going so far as challenging his own grandfather to put an end to the Ichijou line.

Vampire Knight: Kuran Kaname 09

In recent chapters of Vampire Knight, it is revealed that Kaname was indeed, resurrected from the grave by his own descendant, Rido Kuran. It appears that Rido used Haruka and Juuri's first born son, who was also named Kaname, as a sacrifice in order to awaken his great ancestor, but little is known as to what actually took place during the ritual. Even more astonishing is the fact that Rido Kuran is still alive... perhaps it's because of Kaname's existence that he can continue living? After all, a servant can never hope to kill his master.

Singaporean cosplayer おくの (Okuno) who is also known as Mike is the man behind this Kaname cosplay. I must admit, I'm glad to see a guy cosplay him, as there are more girl cosplayers of Kaname. Zero is very hostile towards the Night Class because of his deep hatred towards all vampires, especially to purebloods who have changed his life forever. He can be very tsundere, meaning cold and distant in the beginning but eventually warming up to people. Despite his anger, his sense of duty overrides his issues, ensuring his reliability and trustworthiness.

Cosplayer Amore of DreamS TraderS makes quite an interesting Zero, especially this photo with plushie Kaname! Looks like she owns a lot of plushies actually; can anyone name them all?

Vampire Knight: Kurenai Maria 02

A distant relative of Hio Shizuka, Maria is a sickly vampire who allowed Shizuka to possess her body in exchange for her blood. Her mother, Juri, sacrificed herself in order to seal Yuki’s vampire nature, allowing her to live 10 years as an ordinary human girl. However, Kaname had to re-awaken Yuki’s vampire self when the original threat, Rido, returned to harm her.

Vampire Knight: Kuran Kaname 10

Revealed to be the first ancestor of the Kuran Family, Kaname was awakened from his slumber at the sacrifice of his descendents’, Haruka and Juuri’s, child. Rido murdered the baby, who ironically had the same name, with the intent of devouring their ancestor to strengthen his own powers.

Kaname was able to stop Rido’s plans temporarily, but was too badly injured and starved after several years of sleep that he knew he could go berserk at any moment. Kaname then chose to fall into Haruka and Juuri’s mercy and turn himself into a baby, a form that would not need a lot of blood in order to survive, and put his own memories to sleep so that it would not get in the way.

The second character to reach 10 different cosplay features in Cosplay Holic! I didn’t know this series was so popular, specifically this character as there have been a lot of fan bashing lately. Thanks to Blood Red Princess for sending this in!
